We are AKC Maltese Breeders and only breed Maltese
Home Raised - Champion Background And Champion Sire And Dams
My husband, Ed, and I have always loved having a dog as a companion in our home. Over twenty years ago we acquired our first Maltese and were immediately convinced that the Maltese was the most loving, loyal and beautiful breed on the planet. My children have years of memories playing with and loving our Maltese.

We purchased our first Maltese from a dear friend of mine, Mike when we went to Tucson Arizona to visit my parents. It did not take us very long before we decided we wanted a second Maltese. We would have gotten another Maltese from "Mike" but sadly he was diagnosed with skin cancer and passed away. In our search for a second Maltese it sickened us to see how poorly so many Maltese breeders were raising the precious Maltese. Many had a lot more breeds then just the Maltese.
We knew after visiting many places over a year's time, we could do much better at raising these precious little Maltese puppies. This was the beginning point of our decision to become the best breeder you could ever hope to have raising your Maltese puppy.

Our intent as Maltese breeders was not to just raise our Maltese in a very clean, loving environment, but also to constantly improve the Maltese breed. Special consideration and thought is always taken when creating a litter. We are always moving forward to keep improving structure, coat etc..
For the past several years we have been working hand in hand with Arlene Muzquiz, Arlene is the creator of Pure Paws shampoos and conditioners. Her products have been used on show coats worldwide for many years now. Pure Paws is the only product we use on our Maltese. The products are natural (non-synthetic). My husband and I are so in love with the product that we are now distributors. Here is the link to www.purepawsusa.com. This link is also found on our information page.
Show potentials are sold only to show homes with a strict show contract. The Maltese puppies we choose to sell as pets do not necessarily have anything wrong with them. There are several reasons why a Maltese puppy may be sold as a pet (1) pup did not have a show personality, (2) bite is a little off, (3) the puppy may be to small or a little to big, (4) the black points are not as dark as we would like or (5) the tail goes over the back and lays on the right side of the hip instead of the left. We may even decide that we have plenty of dogs in the ring at the time and offer show potentional Maltese pups for pets.
We do not keep our Maltese locked up all day in a cage. We have a huge backyard our Maltese all love to play in. We feel exercise is crucial in order to keep our dogs strong and happy.
Throughout our twenty years as Maltese breeders we have done extensive research concerning vaccines and food. There is lots of information and videos concerning vaccine issues and food available at the top of each pageof my website. Our Maltese are fed natural foods.
We have created a very informative folder for all our clients concerning vaccines, food, grooming, spay/neutering facts, myths, oral and topical poisens and training tips. We go over much of the information with you when you pick up your Maltese puppy and give you a copy to take home. I am available for any questions that you may have also after you have taken possession of your puppy. We like to keep in touch with our pet owners and welcome you to our Maltese Family. Two YEAR WRITTEN HEALTH GUARANTEE. Maltese puppies sold as pets come with a spay/neuter contract and Limited Registration.
Shipping Although we prefer our clients pick up their pet in person. We know that sometimes it impossible. Therefore we offer shipping. If a puppy will be flying in the pet compartment of the plane we use Continental Airlines as they have a temperature controlled area where the puppy will be kept and the flight is usually booked as a non-stop. We take all measures to make the transition from our home to yours as comfortable as possible for our little Maltese puppies. Shipping cost which includes health certificate and new carrier is $300.00
We also offer puppies to be delivered by a personal courier who will meet you at the airport and hand deliver your puppy. The courier chooses what airline will be used. Delivery by courier is $375.00
Maltese Breeders who have seven litters or more a year are required to be inspected and rated by the AKC Breeder Guidelines www.ack.org . Our AKC Inspection Certificate 2012
